(1) Add ring beams for reinforcement. When the setting of ring beams does not meet the requirements of current design specifications, or there are obvious defects in the biting and rubbing at the intersection of vertical and horizontal walls, or the overall integrity of the house is poor, ring beams should be added for reinforcement.

(2) Add beam cushion reinforcement. When the brick masonry under the beam is locally crushed or there are local vertical cracks in the wall under the beam, beam pads should be added for reinforcement.

(3) Partial demolition of masonry. When a house partially ruptures but the cause of the rupture has not yet affected its load-bearing capacity and safety, the ruptured wall can be partially removed and filled with whole bricks to increase the mortar strength by one level.

(4) Repair of cracks in masonry. Before repairing cracks, the causes of masonry cracks should be determined based on factors such as the stress state of the masonry components and the characteristics of the cracks, in order to carry out targeted crack repair or adopt corresponding reinforcement measures.

Houses need to be improved in terms of safety and durability after long-term use. Before reinforcing the house, it is recommended to first find a professional team to inspect and identify the house, and then select the correct reinforcement method and develop a suitable reinforcement plan based on the actual situation of the house.
