What are the reasons why gas water heaters cannot ignite
1. Battery issue: If you use batteries, you need to first check if the battery is too old, and if the voltage is not enough, the gas water heater will not start. Before confirming the quality of the solenoid valve, it is necessary to confirm whether the igniter control circuit is normal. If there is a fault, the solenoid valve cannot be controlled to close.
2. Igniter malfunction: One of the pulse igniter and controller is faulty, and the gas water heater cannot ignite normally.
3. Water pressure issue: a. When the water pressure is low, the gas water heater cannot start normally and cannot ignite; b. The clogged filter at the inlet prevents water from flowing properly. Simply clean it thoroughly.
4. Malfunction of water air linkage device: a. Aging or damage of the eardrum inside the water air linkage valve prevents the micro switch from being pushed; b. The micro switch is broken.
5. The air source switch is not turned on or the intake filter is blocked. Turn on the air source correctly and clean the intake filter.
6. Inconsistent gas type: for example, connecting a liquefied gas water heater to natural gas, etc.
7. The valve seal swells after being corroded by gas. Replace the components.
8. The smoke pipe cannot exhaust properly. a. The smoke pipe is blocked, clean the blockage in the smoke pipe; b. The smoke pipe is too long and not installed correctly.
