The situation of continuous water flow in a fully automatic washing machine is likely due to a problem with the facilities. It is necessary to first distinguish whether it is due to excessive water intake or abnormal drainage, and then conduct targeted investigation and disposal. Most users encounter the problem of continuous water ingress, which can be caused by the following reasons:
1. Blockage or damage to the inlet valve is the most common condition for water ingress. The water inlet valve of a fully automatic washing machine is responsible for controlling the on/off of the water inlet. When the internal valve core is stuck by mud and scale in the tap water, or when the coil burns out and loses power control, the water inlet channel cannot be closed normally, causing water to continue flowing in. In such a situation, please disconnect the power first, find the filter cover of the inlet valve, remove and clean the debris, and retest. If the water still flows continuously, it can be basically concluded that the inlet valve is damaged and needs to be replaced with a matching accessory of the same model.
2. If the water level sensor fails, the water level sensor will test the water level height in the bucket in real time, and send a signal to the computer board to stop the water from entering after reaching the standard. If the sensor circuit is loose or the internal components are damaged, it will be impossible to accurately transmit signals, and the computer board will continue to issue water inlet commands. You can first check if the wiring of the sensor has fallen off or become loose, plug it back in tightly, and then try again. If the problem is not resolved, the water level sensor needs to be replaced.
3. Abnormal computer board control: If the inlet valve and water level sensor are both normal, it may be a problem with the washing machine's computer control board, which cannot correctly receive and execute water level signal commands, resulting in continuous water inflow. In this situation, it is not recommended to disassemble it by oneself. It is recommended to contact the brand's after-sales service or professional repair personnel for disposal. If there is a continuous outflow of drainage, that is, water constantly leaking out from the drainage outlet, it is easy to see that the reasons include:
1. If the drainage valve is stuck or the seal is aging due to clothing fibers or debris, or if the internal sealing rubber ring is aged and damaged, it cannot be closed properly, which will cause water to continue to flow out. After disconnecting the power, open the drain valve cover at the bottom of the washing machine and clean the internal debris. If the water still leaks after cleaning, the sealing gasket of the drain valve or the entire drain valve needs to be replaced.
2. Drainage pump problem: The impeller of the drainage pump is stuck by debris, or the motor is burnt out and cannot operate, which can also cause water to continue flowing out. This situation requires disassembling the drainage pump for cleaning or replacing parts.
3. Abnormal control of the computer board. If the computer board cannot issue the instruction to close the drainage normally, it will also cause the drainage valve to remain open and water to continuously flow out. Professional personnel are also needed to repair and replace it. During normal use, a pre filter can be installed at the water tap to regularly clean the filter screens of the washing machine's inlet and outlet valves, which can greatly reduce the probability of such problems occurring.
